All children at Ati Jangchup Choeling participated in World Environment Day

World Environment Day 2026 was observed on June 5, 2026, across India under the global theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.” Local events focused on tree plantation, community clean-ups, and climate action pledges. Very excited to announce that the Odiyana Charitable Society had been selected by the government to celebrate World Environment Day 2026.
The day was observed at Ati Jangchup Choeling Monastery (Odiyana Project Site), Ruksin, under the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.” The programme brought together community members, monastery representatives, and local leaders to promote environmental awareness through tree plantation.
Together, let us continue to nurture the trees we planted today and work towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable tomorrow.
World Environment Day helps us protect nature by raising global awareness, encouraging green habits, and inspiring people to solve urgent ecological problems together.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, volunteers, participants, and supporters who contributed to the success of this meaningful initiative. Your commitment towards protecting nature and creating a greener future is truly appreciated.
